#FNV 8: "Stay Together For The Kids" by blink-182. This made the #DSYOM Playlist because it was one of those songs from my teen years that stuck with me into adulthood. My parents were long since divorced when this song came out, but it resonated with me big time. People would clown me for loving blink, but something that I think gets slept on is that blink wrote a lot of stuff like this. Stuff that kids could actually relate to that was real life. AND they were fun?! Still are!⁠

Side note: If you are a fan and have followed the guys' careers over the years-- you know that @markhoppus is now in recovery from his cancer scare-- he's cancer free!! His journey has been really inspiring to follow, especially knowing my dad's cancer was also diagnosed at Stage 4. He's a little older than my dad was, so it's truly so nice and relieving to see that it can work out for some. Atta boy, Mark! (and Way to go, Science!)⁠

Anyway-- about me. Born and raised in Northern California, been cooking/baking since I was five. I moved to Orlando, Florida to work for The Mouse for a couple years and also went to culinary school there. I have also lived in Los Angeles (worked in Beverly Hills as an intern for school). There has always been a lesson or an experience that has led to the next adventure. I'm a person who always wants something to look forward to, so I like to plan ahead a lot. I carry all those lessons with me.⁠
